Sepiring Uniquely Malaysian at Midvalley Mall

Hello!
First of all Happy 2016!!
Chinese New Year is also just around the corner. So many preparations to be made :) and Today its shopping day~
I decided to drop by Midvalley Mega Mall as I had to drop miru there as she is celebrating her friend's birthday.
After getting some accessories, clothing and shoes I got hungry and decided to try a store called Sepiring as I had a craving for Malaysian food. Its my first visit to the store. It is located between Espirit and Soda nearby Cotton On and nichii.

They have a very cosy ambience and simple decorations. After looking through the menu I decided to try their Chicken Satay Burger set (RM 19.90) which includes a ice peach drink and a small hot dessert. The price range of their food is below RM20 and the drinks and dessert under RM15.

The taste of the main dish is pretty good only its probably not a dish for people who have peanut allergies or hates he taste of peanut. It have a peanut and satay taste. The portion is also really good. I am having trouble finishing it and there's still dessert. I ordered pulut hitam with tong yuen balls. The pulut hitam soup and tong yuen taste pretty good and is quite appetizing. I love the feeling of crewing the pulut hitam, it doesn't have the powdery feel of chewing red beans. It was also not too sweet. For the tong yuen, one of the ball had black sesame and another had peanuts. Which is quite yummy.

All together I had a good meal just the portion was too big for me. I don't mind visiting again but I would probably not order so much. I definitely will visit again when I have local food cravings~

Till next time

Haagen Dazs Chocolate Bombe and Green Tea Chocolate

Hello~
Today I'm trying Haagen Dazs Christmas Festive Menu at Midvalley Haagen Dazs!
Ordered the famous Chocolate Bombe and a Matcha Chocolate drink to go with it!!
Going with one of my girl-friend~
Woot~ can't wait to try and eat it.
Melting chocolate bomb surprise!!!

And its here!!
After pouring the chocolate sauce.

Hmmm.... taste wise quite nice but a bit steep for the pricing.
Slightly disappointing but its ok.
The green tea chocolate taste really strong however not the best green tea latte I had, although its not bad.

Overall I had a fun experience watching the chocolate melt and eating it :3

My inner mind rating for it is a 3/5 ~
Heard the fondue is really nice, will try it when I am able~~

Till next time

Cup Noodles Nissin Review October 2015

Woot! Have you guys watched the Nissin Cup Noodles online? They are really great~ Being urged by curiosity and a slight craving for noodles we decided to try some. They are be bought quite easily in any super market in KL~ We tried the Chilli Crab, Tom Tan Seafood, chicken and the Seafood flavor. Personally the Seafood flavor would be my favorite! Since I don't really eat much instant noodles o can only review from my last memories of other instant noodles. Cup Noodles is indeed slightly more expensive than the other cup noodle brands but I personally thinks it makes it up by the volume of noodles and the flavor~
Anyways~ instant noodles are not good for health so don't eat too much of them.
Great for travels tho~~
Cheers

Farmers Street at E@curve

Hello, Tsuji here~
Today's omnomnom time is at Farmers Street at E@Curve~
If you are looking for some yum yum local dishes this is a nice place to stop by.
Its got a really nice environment and friendly employees~
They have a lunch special from Monday to Friday 12pm till 2pm which cost either RM12.90++ for noodles set or RM14.90++ for a rice set (includes 1 main, 1 drink and 1 dessert) the drink and the dessert depends on the day~
I ordered a rice set with black stew chicken with rice, passion fruit drink and a sago dessert.
The food taste petty good and in good portion (just beware of the hidden herbs in the dish which is bitter lol)~ the sago is good only the ice are a bit clumped together which makes it a little hard to eat. Overall, its yum~
I've attached the photo of the food and the lunch set menu with the post~
Enjoy and do comment on your views if you dropped by~

Tsuji out.

Menya Musashi Ramen at 1 Utama

Menya Musashi Ramen is my favorite ramen place in 1 utama.
Today, I decided to try their Mapo Ramen (RM 28) [limited time item]
It taste really good (it also had an egg and a big slice of pork meat in it). An awesome mapo and ramen~
A bit spicy but delicious~ not the dish for those who don't take spiciness.
The place is also currently having a 5pm till 9pm set special where it lets u order a drink, a main ramen dish and a side dish from RM 30 till about RM50.
Would had tried that if I was here at that time~
For those looking for good ramen in 1 utama or just good food and have the budget~ this is definitely a great place to stop by.

Charlie Chaplin Cafe at One City mall

A fun meal time at Charlie Chaplin Cafe at One City mall. The cafe's ambiance and decorations are really classic and nice.

I ordered the Charlie Champlin (I think it's a menu typo) club sandwich. It was pretty good and filling. It cost RM 17 without GST. It tasted pretty decent but nothing exciting. I also ordered a mocha for RM13 it was normal ok (sad that the mocha art wasn't really good).

Most food pricing ranges in RM15 till RM30, while drinks ranges between RM5 till RM87 (most expensive item is the Luwak Coffee) . Warm water cost RM1.
Its got a good variety of food and set lunches and set dinners for weekdays.

Overall is a pleasant experience.

Peace,
Tsuji

*Note that this post is made from a Ladies perspective
(there are slight different facilities for the Gents and Ladies only area in Ossoto)

The experience

(There are not much photos as photos are not allowed in the area, I did sneak a few photos)
I drove my way to Wisma Mirama on a Thursday after getting my Groupon online. I made a call however it was really unnecessary since it was walk in unless you need a ride from the Golden triangle.

[HangTuah LRT Station & Maharajalela Monorail Station(10minutes walking distance)
They also provide free shuttle pick up and send off within Golden triangle of Kuala Lumpur (for pick up, 2hours reservation in advance is a must)]

Excitedly I made my way into the building (I parked at their indoor parking) The directions there was also really clear and concise. I sat the elevator to Lvl 5 the entrance

I really like how they decorated the place.
After showing my groupon to the attendant there, I was told to go to the third floor to do the reservations for the massage and eye treatment first and keep my Groupon in the locker since it'll be needed when I exit. I was given a number bracelet (which is pretty much your life line in Ossoto since most areas will require it's code).

After I entered, I was told to get changed into their clothing at the locker area (there was a curtain for partition but you can always change in the toilet) and kept my things in the locker.

Since it's my first experience going to a spa so I just followed the attendant's instructions and went to book the massage and eye treatment at the counter at lvl 3. Since I really didn't know better so when they suggested that I straight away go for the massage, I did so. I also booked the eye treatment for later on.

I choose the 90-minute full body traditional point massage which is the chinese point massage. I am really glad I choose that since it was pretty good
(the masseur lady gave me advice and information about Ossoto)

1. Once you enter, it's better to get a shower and go for either the Jacuzzi or the Sauna
2. Then the fish spa and if you want the steam room
(if you find the steam room too hot, you can take the cold towels from the fridge to cover your mouth and nose to help with breathing. Don't stay too long if you don't feel comfortable in it.)
3. The 3rd floor tea are better and that you can order unlimited handmade coffee.
4. For weekdays the food in the cafeteria at the 4th floor is buffet but it's served on weekends (unsure but I had the buffet) The time when they serve are also written there but you can eat anytime you want.
5. Don't be shy to use the VIP rooms, as long as it have the available sign and there's no one using it, you can use it.
6. If you want to sleep in the capsule rooms (for better and more private rest), you can book them for an additional RM10.

I really do feel way more relaxed after the massage and it wasn't too painful.
So if you ever go for massage do ask for a Malaysian masseur if you are taking the full body traditional point massage. (Support Malaysian! plus she was really nice :))
They would also ask for a tip at the end and if you feel like it do tip them (pay at counter when exiting)

After the massage, I was told to rest a while before going for the spa and drink a cup of ginger tea which can be ordered at any of the food areas. So I did so and had my lunch (Buffet).

I chill for about an hour or so and decided to go to the spa.
For the spa, if you have not changed into their disposable underwear you would need to do so.
Just ask any of the attendants there and they would pass you 2 blue folded items which are the underwear and bra. (You'll need to keep your clothing in your locker and your phone can be kept in glass compartments using the bracelet) (Do note to use the piece without the number and wait for it to properly lock and double check since some of them malfunctions) (The piece with the number on the bracelet is for the double security locker which you'll need one attendant there to open it with you)

Them unfolded.

Do fasten the bra tightly as you wouldn't want it to fall off.
Wrap yourself in your towel and you are ready to start.

First, get a shower. The shower area is somewhat like glass cubicles where only the middle part is non-see though able. No worries, the spa area is an only ladies area, of course.
Then you can either sauna then Jacuzzi or the other way then steam room and try the fish spa.
I found the Jacuzzi and sauna the most relaxing.
I didn't fancy the fish spa so much as it was really ticklish and the fishes are like, OMG it's food, when I put my feets in but it was none the less a fun experience.

After that, I went to eat again and went exploring the area since my eye treatment was postponed as there was slight miscommunication between the attendant who booked my slot and the beautician but since I had a lot of time to spare, I didn't really mind but do note for those who mind to double confirm the slot.

I visited the ping pong room, the gym room, the cyber cafe (mostly male dominated, playing Dota), the VIP rooms, Cineplex, smoking area (I didn't enter since I don't smoke)
Gym

VIP room (Each sofa chair is with a computer but do note that some of the computer are not working and that you can adjust your seat with the buttons at the side and you can order for drinks from the VIP area using the call attendant button there)

I ordered a hot chocolate and a mocha :D

There's a ladies area at the fourth floor where there's a mini canteen and computers there (next to the cyber cafe) An alternative area to use computers if the ones in the cyber cafe and the VIP area is full.

Later I had my eye treatment, since I don't really do much facial and things like that I don't think I know how to enjoy it much and the lady kept asking me to add other treatments so it was just ok.

I spend my other time either eating, spa, surfing the net in the VIP rooms since I couldn't play ping pong alone and gym alone is also kind of boring.

I also slept through the night in the VIP room as it was pretty comfortable and the capsule rooms for ladies was all fully booked (so do book your capsule room early for an additional RM10, I really wanted to try that room- can ask someone at the counter at lvl 3)

Over all I had a really enjoyable time there and really charged me back up for future challenges.
This is definitely a pleasant place to bring your parents and friends for a relaxing day :)
With lots of food :D

Here are the brochures, to allow you all to see the pricing it's kind of huge lol. \(^^)/

Peace out~
